These Dome Plugs are designed to fit and seal unused knock-out holes. These are also used when existing PG-threaded holes are not yet, or no longer required. There are some places in a fitting where threads are not required in application. So to keep the threads from getting damaged these plugs are used. They provide a safety to a particular thread and can be used again when it is required.
