Ozone is triatomic oxygen with an atomic weight of 48. It is a colorless gas that has an odor most often described as the smell of fresh air after a spring electrical thunderstorm. Ozone is extremely unstable gas and consequently must be produced and used on site.
As far as the application areas are concerned these domestic ozonator are further used to wash vegetables and other washable food items with ozonized water. In addition to that the food products which are not washable are disinfected by just passing ozone gas on them for a shorter period.
