Dorry Abrasion Machine

Product Code: EKE 459Standrad: BS:812   This machine is used for determining the resistance of aggregates to wear by abrasion. Two specimens can be mounted simultaneously and then kept loaded by weights against a machined flat circular grinding surface.The grinding disc rotates at 28-30 revolutions per minute and two funnels release a continuous flow of sand in front of each specimen. A tray with an outlet, placed under the rotating disc facilitates the removal of sand. The electric motor is suitable for operation on 220 V, single phase, 50 Hz, AC Supply.
