The conventional type lathe machine is driven by three-phase AC motor and 16 speed range could be obtained by a 16 speed vertical shafting mechanism,while the main transmission of NC type is driven by vector frequency system and a continuously variable speed range could be obtained by 2 steep vertical shafting mechanism.
