Double Deep Pallet Racks

Ideally, selective pallet racks are arranged in two rows system. Pallets can easily be accessed from either side of the two row system. Double deep configuration has double rows of two rows system, hence four rows racking system between the aisles. Inventory in this type of configuration is rotated in First-in, Last out management. This provides efficient use of storage space. However, a specialed forklift or reach truck will be required to access the pallets stored in the inner rows.
