A Bridge Crane is an Overhead Crane that runs on an elevated track above the factory floor. Bridge Cranes offer hook movement in 3 axis, (X, Y and Z). Bridge Cranes are available in Underhung and Top Riding Designs with Single or Double Girder Configurations.
Double Girder Bridge Cranes are most frequently used where capacities over 10 tons andor spans of 60 to 100 ft are needed. A traveling overhead hoisting machine which spans fixed side rails that are part of a building structure or are erected to support the crane; the hoisting unit also may travel laterally between the rails; used to handle materials in such a location as a machine shop or fabricating plant.They can be utilized at any capacity where extremely high hook lift is required because the hook can be pulled up between the girders.Double Girder Bridge Cranes are also ideal where high speeds and heavy service are required. They are highly suitable where the crane needs to be fitted with walkways, crane lights, cabs, magnet cable reels or other special equipment.EMH is capable of building cranes for loads up to 500 tons.
Double girder bridge crane is the most popular designing since the very beginning. Our annual turnout is 20,000 units for the whole market. The main girder adopts 6mm and 8mm thickness steel plate. Chinese workshop has a 1700mm clearrance above the rail, which is excellenct for the maintenance of the crane. In some Middle East countries, the clearance is less than this, and please indicate this data when you placing the order.
