Downdraft Table

Downdraft tables are workstations that use built-in vacuum systems to pull down dust particles, fumes, smoke or other particulates from the breathing zone of operators and return clean air to your shop floor. Downdraft tables are ideal for those dust that are heavy and tend to fall onto the surface of the table. These are most often used in woodworking, grinding, finishing, metal working, welding, deburring plasma cutting, and composite or plastic fabrication. 

With a flat, open work surface, operators can easily manipulate parts varying in size or shape. Operators can be placed at all sides of the dust extraction table to perform their given application. The dust particulates are captured by the vacuum system in the unit. Collected particles may run through a filter, to protect the motor, and are deposited in a dust sheet. The self-cleaning system can then be activated automatically, using a blast of compressed air in the reverse direction to dislodge the debris. The solids are then collected in a dust drawer.
