Doxorubicin is an anti-cancer (�antineoplastic� or �cytotoxic�) chemotherapy drug. Doxorubicin is classified as an �anthracycline antibiotic.�
Doxorubicin for Injection 50mg is a sterile Lyophilized cake for infusion.
Usage & Treatment:
Doxorubicin HCl is indicated as a component of multi-agent adjuvant chemotherapy for treatment of women with axillary lymph node involvement following resection of primary breast cancer.
Doxorubicin HCL is used to treat Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL)

Route of Administration;
Doxorubicin is administered via an intravenous (IV) injection through a central line or a peripheral venous line, and the drug is given over several minutes. Doxorubicin can also be given by continuous infusion through a central catheter line. There is no pill form of Doxorubicin.
Doxorubicin is a vesicant. A vesicant is a chemical that causes extensive tissue damage and blistering if it escapes from the vein.
