Stevia, also known as Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni,  is  a  natural  sweetner.  It  is  a bushy shrub that is part of the sunflowerfamily.  Stevia contains eight glycosides stevioside,    rebaudioaside,    steviol bioside and dulcoside A. These are the sweet components isolated and purified from  the  leaves  of  stevia  and  sold  as steviol glycol .Stevia is a natural ZERO calorie  sweetner  and  is  300  times sweeter  than  the  conventional  table sugar.
