Drop Arm Awning

Drop arm (side arm) awning commonly used to shade a window, with a roller tube at the top , spring- loaded side arms. The awning can be controlled by manual or motorized operation. Motorized awning can be equipped with wind sensor or sun & wind sensor for full automation. Drop arm awnings are ideal for those sun drenched windows. Like the retractable awning, this window awning can be raised or lowered to cover any portion of the window. On the sunny day, lower the awning to desire position. Late in the afternoon, you may want to cover the entire window or raise the awning up completely on those not so sunny days. They allow the home owner to control the amount of shade given without blocking the outside view.
