These are high quality, solvent refined, high viscosity index moderate duty industrial gear oils, conforming to API:GL-4 specifications. They have good film strength property, inherent oxidation and thermal stability, besides excellent ability to separate from water. They offer high resistance to the formation of lacquers and other oxidation products and resistance to rusting and corrosion. They provide economical lubrication and protect industrial gears from excessive wear under light and medium loads.

These oils are formulated from high quality base stocks and a proprietary additive system to provide superior protection against rust, excellent resistance to oxidation and thermal degradation, and a high level of protection against wear, plus excellent resistance to corrosion and foaming.

Recommended for lubrication of worm gear as well as spiral-bevel and double reduction gears, highly loaded industrial spur, herringbone, helical and spiral bevel gears, operating under moderate duty conditions.

These are not suitable for foods and drug industries and those required to be operated under extremely severe and hostile environment viz. gear drives operating at speed over 3600 rev/min and/or pitch-line velocities exceeding 1500m/min and lubricant's sump temperatures generally exceeding 110°C.
