Dual Media Filters

Dual Media Filters contain Anthracite and Sand in different proportions in addition to under bed support media. This filters are most commonly used when water has high concentration of suspended solids. Anthracite which has high dirt holding capacity, gives the filter long run with less back wash frequency. In addition to this these filters offer less pressure drop and are ideal choices for filtration post clarification, pre filtration to UF membranes, RO membranes.
