Duraceft Veterinary Injections, Packaging Type : Glass Bottle

INDICATIONS:

DURACEFT is indicated for the treatment of:

• Genital infections in bovine (e.g. acute metritis, cervicitis, ROP-related infections) caused by Arcanobacterium pyogenes, Fusobacterium necrophorum, and Bacteroides spp.
• Respiratory diseases (Shipping fever, pneumonia) in Cattle, Buffalo, Sheep, and Goat caused by Pasteurella haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, and Haemophilus somnus.
• Foot rot/pododermatitis (acute interdigital necrobacillosis) caused by Fusobacterium and Bacteroides spp.

Route: Intramuscular (IM) or Subcutaneous (SC) as specified

• Cattle, Sheep, Goat: 1.1-2.2 mg/kg b.w. (1-2 ml/45.45 kg) IM once daily for 3-5 days
• Buffalo: 2-2.4 mg/kg b.w. IM once daily for 3-5 days
• Dog: 2.2 mg/kg b.w. SC once daily for 5-14 days
• Camel: 2.2 mg/kg b.w. IM once daily for 3-5 days
• Horse: 2.2-4.4 mg/kg b.w. (1-2 ml/22.72 kg) IM once daily for 3-5 days
• Swine: 3-5 mg/kg b.w. (1-1.7 ml/16.66 kg) IM once daily for 3-5 days
• Chicken (Day-old chicks): 0.08-0.2 mg/chick SC (neck region) (Reconstituted 1 g vial with 20 ml WFI treats 5,000-12,500 chicks)
