Dynamic Braking Resistors

For applications that require faster deceleration rates, or where motor speeds are exceeding the synchronous speed set by the output frequency of the drive (an overhauling load condition) viz. Lifts & Elevators, Cranes, Conveyors, etc., a braking resistor is required. The purpose of a dynamic braking resistor is to slow down or to quickly stop a motor by draining excess voltage and keeping it within safe tolerances.
