BFC is having organic matter 40-50% which is highly conductive .We use high carbon content graphite (90%+) as organic matter and hygroscopic clay which have a typical chemical composition of 60-68% silica,15-20% alumina,6-7% Na₂O,1-2% K₂O.The composition and mixture percentage changes according to the soil resistivity.
