NICTECH® Earth Pressure Cell – Small Description

The NICTECH® Earth Pressure Cell (Model: NICTECH-EPC-XXXX-KPA-SS316-H-20-mV-4W) is a high-precision strain-gauge-based sensor designed to measure total earth pressure in soil, embankments, retaining walls, foundations, and underground structures. Constructed from SS316 stainless steel with a rugged dual-diaphragm design, it ensures excellent long-term stability, corrosion resistance, and accurate pressure transfer using de-aired hydraulic fluid.

The sensor provides a 0–20 mV output, suitable for all standard dataloggers, and is equipped with a carrying handle for easy installation. Available in pressure ranges from 100 kPa to 5000 kPa, with diameters ranging from 150 mm to 300 mm, the Earth Pressure Cell delivers reliable performance in demanding geotechnical applications.
