Ecf Plus Veterinary Injections, Packaging Type : Glass Bottle

INDICATIONS:

ECF PLUS is a potent treatment for theileriosis (East Coast Fever), especially effective in advanced cases with pulmonary oedema.

• Parvaquone: Theilericidal action on schizonts and piroplasms.
• Furosemide: A fast-acting diuretic that helps relieve pulmonary oedema.

Administer via intramuscular injection into the neck muscle only.

• Dosage: 1 ml per 50 kg body weight (equivalent to 10 mg Parvaquone & 3.6 mg Furosemide per kg)
• Repeat after 48 hours
• In severe infections with pulmonary oedema, additional doses at half dosage every 24 hours may be required.

Dosage Guide by Body Weight:

• 100 kg 7 ml
• 150 kg 10 ml
• 200 kg 14 ml
• 250 kg 17 ml
• 300 kg 20 ml

Once pulmonary symptoms subside, parasitic cure may be continued with ECF PLUS (Parvaquone only) at 1 ml per 50 kg every 48 hours.

Note: Do not use by intravenous or subcutaneous routes. Follow normal aseptic precautions.
