ECOANTICORR 1� A Geo Polymer based pre mixed anti-corrosive protective coating formulated to prevent the corrosion. It has excellent bonding strength to steel and all other surfaces comparing to conventional anti corrosive coatings. It forms an excellent corrosion barrier against severe corrosive mediums. SURFACE PREPARATION
� The steel surfaces to be coated shall be free from loose rust particles, oil, grease and materials which reduce bonding. Cleaning shall be done by sand blasting or by using hard wire brush.
� The concrete to be coated shall be free from laitance, dust, loose material, surface contamination and materials which reduce bonding.
� If the surface temperature is too hot, sprinkle water / wet the surface to bring down the surface temperature to ambient condition. Apply the coating as soon as the surface becomes dry.
MIXING GUIDELINES (at 30°C)
Add 300ml of water to 1Kg of powder and mix thoroughly for 3 minutes. Initially the mix may appear dry but keep mixing and the material will dissolve to form brushable consistency slurry. Apply the mixed slurry by brush onto the cleaned surface.
SITE TEMPERATURE MIXING TIME * � Mixing times are based on using 20�C to 27�C temperature mixing water. During usage of higher temperature mixing water, the mixing time to be shortened appropriately.
� The above mixing times are indicative only. Where mixing time is critical a trail mix is recommended.
50° - 35°C 3 - 5 Minutes
35° - 25°C 5 - 7 Minutes
25° - 10°C Until the slurry becomes warm - 10 Min
WORKING TIME (at 30°C)
ECOANTICORR 1� has a working time of 30 minutes at 30°C
Hot Weather conditions: Working time will be further shortened at higher temperature site conditions. Working time can be marginally increased by using cold water for mixing, Can be further extended by adding proprietary retarder supplied by us, if required.
Cold Weather conditions: Working time will be extended at Lower temperature site conditions. Working time can be marginally shortened by using hot water for mixing, Can be further shortened by adding proprietary accelerator supplied by us, if required
APPLICATION GUIDELINES
2 coats are recommended. 2nd coat shall be applied after 1hr of 1st coat application.
Wash off the equipments quickly as the material tends to set fast.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
� Avoid application during hot sun and/or strong wind.
� Do not add water over recommended dosage.
� Apply only to sound, prepared substrates.
� Mix the entire content of a single packing at one time and DO NOT USE PART VOLUME OF A PACKING
