Our Metalclad packaged secondary substations are fully assembled, wired and ready to install. Simply mount on a plinth, cable up, earth It and its ready to use. Saves weeks of civil engineering works and cuts down installation costs drastically. Also ideal for locations where space is a restraint and aesthetics have to be given due attention.
The key components in this are:
- HT Metering � with power supplier approved designs
- HT Protective gear � having Load Break with HRC fuses or SF6 Breakers or Ring main unit
- Transformer � 100 Kva t0 1000 Kva with various option as better described Below
- LT Switchgear � as per requirements with MCCB ACB and withwithout APFCR and with auto or manual changeover
CHOICE OF TRANSFORMERS AVAILABLE
A. Cast Resin Dry Transformers:
For the best fire protection safety and ultimate choice for the indoor application. Needs virtually no maintenance and provides peace of mind.
B. Hermetically Sealed Transformer:
When maintenance is the key issue or installation is in harsh areas then look no further than our hermetically sealed maintenance free transformers that require no maintenance and are filled with nitrogen gas above oil level and provided with corrugated wall tanks. This arrangement completely eliminates air inside and hence no oxidisation or moisture in oil is possible. These are ideally suited for dusty areas, moisture laden areas, petro chemical applications, water plants, sewage treatment plants etc.
C. Conventional Oil Cooled Transformer:
These are the most cost effective and well suited for outdoor application and in very humid areas.
