Electric Water Spray Chamber, Voltage : 220V

The updated model of Water / Rain Spray Chamber specially designed to determine suitability of electronic and electrical components driving under rain conditions.
Construction

• Chamber :  Double Wall and leak proof.
• Interior Chamber :  Will be made of Heavy Duty Stainless Steel
• Exterior Chamber : Will be made of Heavy Duty Mild Steel / Stainless Steel
• Bottom Tank :   Made  of  Heavy Duty Stainless  Steel  Sheet and is mounted on the Trolley below the Main Chamber.
• Portability  :   Mounting type trolley with casters for easy portability will be provided.
• Drainage System : The Chamber will be provided with Tapered Drain Holes to drain out water accumulated inside the Chamber.
• Viewing Window : A viewing window of 30 x 30 cms will be provided on Front Door.
• Door : A full front opening door, double walled insulated will be provided for ensuring full access to the working space inside the chamber.
• Gasket : Two gaskets, one on the chamber and the other one for leakproofness at the door, will be fitted.
• Locking System : The  door  is  also  provided  with  heavy  duty  hinges  &  ratchet type locking system.

Chamber
The chamber will be provided with a cylinder in the centre with 8 nos. of sockets, which will be connected to the nozzle. The cylinder will be fed through a suitable pump to create the sufficient pressure with by-pass valve and the main valves will control the pressure in the cylinder which in-turn control the pressure at the nozzle tips. All the connections will be provided with compression fitting for leakproofness. The same water will be re-circulated.
Precipitation Measurement  : Precipitation measurement will be done by using collector of 100 mm height and inside diameter 140 mm.
Water Spray Nozzles  As per IS – 9000 : Water Spraying 8 Nozzles capable of spraying water in solid cone form to get precipitation rate of 2.5 mm / minute will be equipped in the chamber. Eight Water Spray Nozzles will be equipped in the Chamber out of which Four Nozzles at the top Four Corners at an angle of 45° and four Nozzles in the centre of each four sides.
Rain & Shower Nozzle As Per JIS D 0203 : Shower through 40 holes and rain through two holes. Rotation of the Rain & Shower Nozzle is 17 rpm.
Pressure Gauges  :  Separate pressure gauge will be provided for each spray nozzle along with Pressure Regulator, for indicating the pressure of the nozzles at the nozzles. The pressure gauges will be mounted on the panel  and equivalent  length of copper tubing which run to the nozzle end  and the gauges will be calibrated  accordingly.
Port Holes : Port Holes with suitable Rubber Plugs will be provided to access for Internal Chamber Volume and for connecting wires/pneumatic pipes etc.
Revolving Table  : Revolving Table with geared motor with Clockwise & Anticlockwise rotation having diameter between 450 mm to 500 mm at the centre of the working space will be provided. Table will be capable of rotating around its vertical axis.
 
Table RPM  :The RPM of the table will be variable between 2 to 10 rpm with an accuracy of ±0.5 rpm.
Hour Meter  : The Chamber will be equipped with Hour Meter for chamber operation time measurement.
Control Panel & Wiring
At the right hand side of the chamber a control panel will be fixed with all the controls, switches, fuses, contactor assemblies and indicating lamps etc. All the channel type wiring will be as per IS Code for suitable current rated copper wires.
Timer : Timer will be provided in the Chamber for Auto Switch Off of the complete chamber after completion of the selectable test time period.
