Electrical system design is the design of electrical systems. We include all the electrical parameters in the design such as proper voltage levels, balances and quality, system capacity, reliability and redundancy, steady state and transient losses, short circuit protection, load flow, voltage drop, harmonics and protective device coordination. We consider the local building codes, National Electrical Code (NEC), National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) while designing.
