Anionic Emulsifier a blend of nonionic and anionic surfactants, can be used for formulating oilin- water emulsions, specifically low solids emulsion fluids. ANIONIC EMULSIFIER provides a stable oil-in-water emulsion capable of tolerating most mud contaminants. ANIONIC EMULSIFIER lowers the interfacial tension between water and oil. The lowering of interfacial tension allows for oil-wetting of steel and solids surfaces. This oil-wetting imparts corrosion protection and lubricity to the drillpipe and casing.
