Encapsulated General Purpose Transformers

L3 Power Magnetics' single-and three-phase general purpose encapsulated transformers are rated for 600 volts and below. Encapsulated transformers are encased in electrical grade silica and epoxy, and totally enclosed in a heavy duty NEMA enclosure. All leads are brought out to a separate termination compartment. Encapsulated transformers are available in single-phase ratings from 0.05 kVA up to 37.5 kVA and three phase ratings from 2kVA up to 1000 kVA. Electrostatic shields between the primary and secondary windings are standard on single-phase units above 0.50 kVA and optional on most others.
