End Cap Bonding Machine

This machine is used to paste or bond pre-molded plastic discs (end caps) to the filter media by application of heat and pneumatic pressure.

The pre-molded plastic disc is softened on a table top die by applying heat to it through a retractable heater (actuated through a pneumatic cylinder kept underneath the table) for a pre-set time of about 5 – 10 seconds.

Thereafter the filter media is put over the disc and a pressure is applied from the top through pneumatic cylinder for bonding of the end disc/cap with the filter media.

The salient features of this machine are:

• 
  Provided with double pasting heads so that at a time both the top and bottom plastic discs can be bonded to the pleated media at either of the stations.
• Movement of the top Pressurizing Plate is through Pneumatic Cylinders
• Bottom disc holding die heads are fixed and are insulated to prevent heat loss.
• Pneumatic system is complete with all the regulating arrangements like Pressure Regulator, Pressure Gauge, Safety Valve, FRL unit with Air Release Valve etc.
• The heating cycle, temperature, timing and movement of the cylinders are all controlled through smart PLC based system.
• Provided with smart touch screen-HMI Control Panel.
• Standard table size is 610mm (L) x 700mm (W) x 750mm (H). However this size can vary based on customer requirement.
• Utilizes heat load of up to 6 KW.
