All industrial areas require machinery and products which can be used for tasks like heavy weight lifting. Cranes, end carriages, crab hoists, etc. are required at sites of industrial functions, construction and other product factories. It is mandatory that all the machinery that is used should adhere to all safety standards. End carriages are machines that have extreme use in areas of construction. This is because they are of utmost help to transfer heavy materials from one place to another. An ideal end carriage machine should essentially have the further mentioned features and qualities. The most important feature is that the crane should have a good amount of capacity to carry heavy materials. The basic function of the carriage depends upon the crane capacity. Next is that the carriage should have a decent span. This is to accommodate materials comfortably into the carriage. It helps easy and speedy movement of materials. The end carriages have a variety in the type of cranes; that is they have single girder or double girder and I- beam or box type. Another important design feature should be the wheel load. And most importantly, the carriage should have long travel speed, the speedy transport depends on this design feature.

The end carriages have shock absorbers or buffers which help in minimizing any impact stoppage. In the end carriage, one set of carriage wheels has one gear wheel and the other plain type of wheel. The gear drives are provided with the gear wheels. Also, another design feature is that the bridge and end carriage couple plates are installed according to bridge width and rail centre. Again, there is the proper arrangement of wheel replacement on site.

Along with all these features, it is ensured that the end carriage is safe enough to use. It is tested well for this purpose. The product is made from strong raw material and has extremely low chances of breaking down.

1. WHEEL CENTRE IS MIN. OF 1/5TH OF CRANE SPAN.

2. SHOCK ABSORBERS/BUFFERS ARE PROVIDED TO MINIMIZE ANY IMPACT STOPPAGE.

3. IN ONE SET OF END CARRIAGES – WHEELS ARE OF ONE GEAR TYPE AND ONE PLAIN TYPE.

4. GEAR DRIVES ARE PROVIDED ON GEAR WHEELS

5. BRIDGE AND END CARRIAGE COUPLE PLATES ARE INSTALLED AS PER BRIDGE WIDTH AND RAIL CENTRE.

6. PROPER ARRANGEMENT OF WHEEL REPLACEMENT ON SITE.
