ERCuSn brazing wire (Phosphor Bronze) is a copper-tin alloy filler metal used for welding/brazing copper, brass, bronze, and steel, offering high strength, wear/corrosion resistance, good fluidity due to tin, and often containing phosphorus as a deoxidizer, suitable for TIG/MIG with Argon shielding for applications like marine parts, valves, and general repairs.

Key Characteristics:

Composition: Primarily copper and tin, with phosphorus (P) for deoxidation; ERCuSn-A has ~6% Sn, ERCuSn-C ~8% Sn.
Properties: High tensile strength, excellent wear resistance, good corrosion resistance, good fluidity.
Appearance: Golden color (as a copper alloy).
Standards: Meets AWS A5.7 (ERCuSn-A, ERCuSn-C).

Applications:

Joining copper to copper-zinc (brass) alloys and steel.
Repair welding of cast copper and bronze products.
Surfacing (hardfacing) on steel for wear resistance.

Welding Process:
