Description : Enterotoxaemia (ET) Vaccine is used for prophylactic measures to control enterotoxaemia disease, is also known as 'pulpy kidney disease', caused by Clostridium perfringens type D infections in sheep and goats.

Composition - ET vaccine contains formalin inactivated cultures of Clostridium perfringens type D and epsilon toxoid. The inactivated cultures along with the toxoid are further purified and concentrated before adjuvantation with aluminium hydroxide gel.
Dosage & Administration - 2 ml for sheep and goats. For subcutaneous use only. Shake well before use.

Vaccination Schedule

Primary Vaccination - 4 months of age and above
Booster Dose - 6 months after primary vaccination
Re-Vaccination -Annual

Precautions : Immunize only healthy animals. Malnutrition, infestation with worms, administration of immunosuppressive agents such as corticosteroids or radiotherapy will interfere with the immune response to vaccine.

Post-vaccination Reactions - Generally, there are no adverse reactions noticed. Occasionally a transient palpable swelling may occur at the site of injection, which will subside in 24-48 hours.

Storage &Ttransport - Store and transport the vaccine between 2 and 8°C until use. At no stage should the vaccine be allowed to freeze. Protect from sunlight.

Shelf Life -2 years (24 months) from the date of manufacture

Presentation - Multi-dose vial of 100 ml (50 doses of 2 ml each)

The vaccines are manufactured using modern technology. The vaccines are tested and certified for their safety, sterility and potency as per various pharmacopeial standards.
Our niche products are foot and mouth disease vaccine (fmd) and rabies vaccine. The installed capacity of fmd vaccine is 100 million trivalent doses and the expansion plan for 200 million trivalent doses is in the process. The installed capacity of other bacterial vaccines and rabies vaccine is in excess of 55 million doses.
In addition to the vaccines, our product profile includes animal health products such as antibiotics and antibacterials, analgesics & antipyretics, dewormers, ecto parasiticides, feed additives and galactogogues, etc. Bbpl has the capability to formulate any animal health products (medicines) to suit the live stock requirement of the given country.
