What we create
Chitrani’s mission is to create simple and eco-friendly heirloom products for the little ones, that pass from generation to generation and sits beautifully in the wall shelve in between. Every product design is inspired by old fashion and re-imagined to fit in modern world. Chitrani products are keepsakes to appeal an actual 5 year old and also the inner 5 year old in all of us.
The design and functionality of toys are made to enhance child’s development skills and inspire them to imagine, to create and to discover. we are committed to enriching the lives of children with toys that’s beautiful and enduring using natural raw material, striking colors and bold shapes.
How we make it
We make every item by hand. Because we love to.
The entire Chitrani collection is designed in our workshop and is also produced here, by hand. Chitrani’s conception and design process is rigorous and addresses every aspect of the product with devotion to detail. We believe in the philosophy of Indian traditional craftsmanship and the toys are made by age old interlocking technique without screws and nails. They are stylish, strong, safe and unlike mass produced plastic toys, each one is subtly unique. The surface finishes we use are all non-toxic and sourced from suppliers who share our vision.
