A non-excited brake and compact power supply are contained without changing the dimensions of a general-purpose motor. Braking of motor shaft is performed by applying current through the brake coil. Torque is transmitted by a constant-load plate spring to ensure always-stable braking. The BMM-[]NHB type for base mounting and BMM-[]NHF type for flange mounting are available.
