Externally Pressurized Expansion Joints

The Externally Pressurized Expansion Joint is most commonly used in applications where large amounts of axial movement is necessary. DME offers a standard 350 Series single expansion joint with 4″, 6″, and 8″ axial travels. For movement up to 16″ axial travel, a dual expansion joint can be designed. It must be placed in the center of the piping run as it is designed to compress from both ends. DME can custom fabricate any externally pressurized expansion joint to meed your needs.
