Fabric Phenolic Laminates

These Fabric Phenolics Laminated sheets are made from finely woven cotton FABRIC as a filler material and customised phenol formaldehyde resin as a bonding medium. These are graded accordingly to coarseness of cloth and electrical properties.

GRADE : CHARACTERISTICS and APPLICATION

E-F2 : General purpose laminate with good machinability and mechanical strength. Excellent strength to weight ratio. It has good chemical resistance.

APPLICATION : Shuttles, gears, pulleys, automobile couplings, structural parts, low-voltag Contact breaker, friction plates,etc. This Grade F2 material is manufactured as per IS-2036 of 1995.

E-F3: It has high impact resistance, mechanically strong with adequate machinability.

APPLICATION : Heavy duty gears, pullerys, pilling dolly, workbench tops rolling mil bearings,etc. This Grade F3 material is manufactured as per IS-2036 of 1995.

E-F4: This Grade F4 material is made from medium weave cotton fabric,it has very good Die Electrical properties along with medium mechanical strength.

APPLICATION : Some of its applications are used to be as Armature Wedges, Generator Slot Wedge insulation and busbar supports etc., This Grade F4 material is manufactured as per IS-2036 of 1995.
