Fancy Yarn

Technically Yarn is a structure composed of continuous length of interlocked fibers. The Yarns are popularly used in the production of textiles, sewing, crocheting, knitting, weaving, embroidery and rope making. But fancy yarns are a bit different from normal or say regular yarns. Fancy yarn as the name suggests are fancy due to deliberate discontinuities in the form of colour, structure or both. Such a unique feature of fancy yarns makes it eligible to be used in high value items. Because of the fancy touch to the fabrics, there is a variety of end use of fancy yarns.

The fancy effect of these yarns can be obtained in the following 2 ways :

• By twisting and/or doubling technique
• With spun effect by means of fibers. The effects may be randomized with regular effects
