In future it will be looking towards defense sector as market for its sophisticated robotics. Founded Mr. Vijay Kumar Bangera and Mr. Prajwal V Kumar in the year 2006. Earlier this company was started with the name Mangalore Robotronics Technologies on a partnership basis and recently it was transformed into a private limited company on 3rd January 2011 with name “ Mangalore Robautonics Pvt Ltd”. Currently, using a small manufacturing and R&D unit in Mangalore, the Company has supplied its product in pilot quantity to its main customers or OEMs. Company is headed by four directors which includes Chairman: Mr Vijay Kumar Bangera, Managing Director: Mr. Prajwal V Kumar, Technical Director: Prof. B N Karkera and Promoter Director: Mrs Prameetha Vignesh.
MRT started with the project of Remote controlled system for Power Tillers in the year 2005, which took nearly 4 months to complete the first prototype. After successive R&D and prototyping now its ready for large scale production. This project is first of its kind in the World with patent a patent grant and patent pending in other countries. We have already manufactured 50 numbers as a pilot project through our OEM VST Tillers and Tractors Ltd, Bangalore and further production is in progress. Along with this innovation, few more new ideas are under process and work on R&D is going on. Our office and R&D center is at Kuloor.
