    Fenugreek comes from the “Fabaceae” plant family. It is native to southeastern Europe and Asia. It’s available and utilized both as spice (the seed) and herb (the leaves). It is cultivated as semi-arid crop worldwide. It is a seasoned herb with a somewhat sweet, nutty flavor described as cross between maple and celery often. It is used frequently in curries and is one of the famous Indian leafy vegetables and it resembles clover leaves. Fenugreek has a light bitter taste and has a little spicy taste with it. You can use fenugreek to spice savory meats, like pork or chicken, and vegetables.
