Ferro Silicon Form : Lumps

Ferro Silicon is a kind of ferro alloy containing iron and silicon. The weight percentage of silicon in the alloy ranges somewhere between 15 and 90 percent. In the presence of iron, the level of sand with coke is reduced to produce Ferrosilicon. If the silicon content in the Ferrosilicon alloy is 15%, acid fire bricks lined blast furnaces are used. But, if the silicon content is more than 15%, electric arc furnaces are involved.
