to select ferrochrome nitrided as nitrogen source to produce nickel-free austenitic stainless steel at normal pressure.by means of smelting micro-carbon iron,adding manganese alloy and ferrochrome nireide grains,and controling the time and temperature of pouring to ensure enough nitrogen content in steel.the test results show that stable high nitrogen nickel-free austenitic stainless steel can be obtained after the melting steel goes through solution treatment.
