    Ferro Silicon Magnesium Alloys are master alloys of Magnesium with Iron and Silicon. They facilitate small additions of Magnesium to Iron, required to transform graphite flakes to spheroids.
    Our Ferro silicon magnesium is produced in induction furnaces and cast in permanent molds, to give homogeneity. We can offer the right alloy with controlled amounts of Ca and TRE, to reduce the severity of the reaction and improve magnesium recovery. All alloys are analyzed with the help of an X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometer to ensure consistent quality.
    Ferro silicon magnesium offered by us produces high-quality modulating agents. This ferro silicon magnesium find wide application in the production of SG Iron & specialty grey iron castings for the automobile industry. The use of ferrosilicon magnesium also provides a number of distinct advantages in modularisation of ductile iron.
    The total world reserve of manganese ore is approximately 570 million tons of metal content which are unevenly distributed. Reserves are located in South Africa (26%), Ukraine 25%, and Australia 17%. Brazil and India 9% each. Only a small fraction of the global manganese reserve is economic.
    The silicothermic process seems to be the most preferable technique for producing ferrosilicon magnesium. This study aims to investigate the different parameters controlling the ferrosilicon magnesium alloy production by the silicothermic process and to investigate a technique for the production process by the immersion of magnesium metal in molten ferrosilicon
    Ferro Sillicon Magnesium Alloys are master alloys of magnesium with Iron And Silicon. They facilitate small additions of Magnesium to iron, required to transform graphite flakes to superfoods.
    These include:

    • Higher quality castings through maximum nucleation
    • Improved graphic nodularity
    • Fewer as-cast carbides in thin section castings for improved machine-ability
    • Reduced heat treatment costs
    • Precise control of rare earth levels with single alloy addition
    • Higher levels of ferrite & lower hardness for given composition and section sizes
    • Greater tolerance to a slightly higher levels of pearlite-promoting residual elements. Magnesium from dolomite can be made in the Pidgeon process with the use of Ferrosilicon.

    It can also be used in the production of carbon steel, silicon steel, and stainless steel.
    It is used in the metallurgical industry for different processes and reactions.
    The electric industry buys this ferro alloy to use it as a source of pure silicon.
