description
fg cryogenic adhesive is made from mixing and heat treatment of asphalt,polymer and polymer and plasticizers.it has high bonding strength and good anti freezing property.suitable to be used as binder for foam glass and pu at low temperature.
Application
"surfaces must be free of moisture,loose scale and rust ,dust,oil and grease.asphaltic primers,coal tars,siliconers,alkyd or other solvent senitive or thermoplastic Ã��ï¿Â½ÃƒÃ¯Â¿Â½ÃƒÂ¯Ã‚¿Â½ÃƒÃ¯Â¿Â½Ãƒ‚ primers or coating should not be used.some acceptable primers are zinc rich,polyester and epoxy,if in doubt,always check surface for adhesion before starting work with a test block ,apply a small block and let cure for a minimum of 24 hours,block should break before adhesive peels from surface.
Blocks of insulation material should be checked Ã��ï¿Â½ÃƒÃ¯Â¿Â½ÃƒÂ¯Ã‚¿Â½ÃƒÃ¯Â¿Â½Ãƒ‚ for fit to the substrate surface before work started.blocks must be reshaped or cut smaller if they do not fit,especially on overhead work.
Adhesive may be applied to either or both surfaces,application to the rougher surface generally gives the best results."
