Contact SupplierGORE Fibers, 100% ePTFE material, are sewn, knitted or woven into many designs that maintain their utility over a long service life. Among its many properties, ePTFE is chemically inert, has universal chemical resistance (ph 0-14), is hydrophobic (repels water) and can withstand exposure to extremely hot (+ 260 degrees C) and cold temperatures (- 250 degrees C).
Sewing thread made from Gore fibers helps outdoor fabrics, such as those used in awnings, umbrellas and pleasure marine products, stand up to the elements. In fact, Gore’s outdoor sewing thread is guaranteed to outlast the fabric into which it is sewn. When sewn into filter bags, Gore’s industrial thread withstands chemicals and extreme temperatures. Ropes used in continuous bending applications incorporate Gore fibers to lengthen their service life without sacrificing performance.
