These wheels are manufactured by compression molding shredded cotton fabric, soaked in good quality phenolic resin. The hardness of Fibre wheel is higher than the hardness of UHMW wheel. As a result, the chance of steel burr lying on the shop floor getting embedded in the wheel surface is remote. The acidic or alkaline chemicals have little effect on these wheels.Â
