A fire alarm system consists of number of devices which work together to detect and alarm people with the help of visual and audio devices. There are different types of detectors (smoke detector, heat detector), manual call points, sirens, flashers, response indicators and the main panel which controls all these devices. So when there is smoke or rise in temperature, these detectors send a signal to the panel and panel generates alarm through sirens and flashers.
