Certification of products of fire-prevention function is carried out in the frame of obligatory certification in the UkrSEPRO State System in accordance with rules described in the section “Certification in Ukraine”. Products included into the “List of Products Liable to Obligatory Certification in Ukraine” are subjected to obligatory certification. Certification is carried out by Certification Bodies that have indicated products in their sphere of accreditation. Application of products of fire-prevention function without certification is forbidden by fire supervision bodies.
According to requirements of some normative documents it is possible to carry out tests for the purpose of class determination for materials inflammability for some materials and products. This control is carried out in case of certification for concrete products including tests on the basis of Certification Body decision.
Other permits or licenses from Department on Fire Safety of Ministry of Emergencies are not required.
