Automatic fire sprinkler system is an active fire protection measure, consisting of a water supply system, providing adequate pressure and flow rate to a water distribution piping system, onto which fire sprinklers are connected. The fire sprinkler system is installed in factories and large commercial buildings, residential apartments, etc as per NFPA 13.

It includes the character and the adequacy of water supply as well as selection of Sprinkler Bulb, fittings, Installation Control Valve (ICV) with alarm Installed in system riser. The system usually is activated by heat from a fire and discharge water over the fire area.
