Operating Principle:
The chemical extinguishing agent HFC 227ea is stored in liquid form in the storage containers and pressurized with nitrogen. The nitrogen is used to transport the gas to the individual nozzles, where it evaporates rapidly, creating a homogeneous atmosphere in the room. The extreme  with which HFC 227ea extinguishes a fire is the result of the sudden expansion in volume, reduction of the local oxygen concentration and the high level of heat absorption involved in this decomposition process.
