We are offering fish meal.
Fish meal is prepared by us using whole fish as well as from processed fish (bones and offal). Available in brown color and powdered form, the fish meal is made by pressing cooked fish or trimmings continuously to remove almost all the oil and water for grinning and drying later on. Fish cooking is done using a commercial cooker and perforated tubes with increasing pressure are used for pressing. Any type of wild caught fish with high percentage of bones and oil is used and two types of drying are adopted like:
direct drying (with hot air of about 500 oc (932 of)) is passed over material
indirect drying (by using cylinders with heated discs)
for better results a quicker process including cooking, pressing, drying and drying is followed to avoid scorching and ensuring that no molds grow on the material.
