We are reckoned Manufacturer and Supplier of high quality Flame Proof Mastic Paint. When applied to a cable, Flame Proof Mastic Paint effectively prevents fire propagation for a minimum of 30 minutes. Electrical Cables are usually insulated with PVC which contribute to prolonged spread of fire and also emits poisonous gas upon combustion. Flame Proof Mastic Paint is suitable for fire redundant compounds to retard fire.

Cablemastic Piant when applied on cables in similar to the function of speed breaker / road barriers on the road wherein, the vehicles must necessarily slow down and stop. Cablemastic coating can effectively prevent free propagation for at least 30 minutes.

Electrical cables are usually insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which contribute to rapid spread of fire & also produce highly poisonous and corrosive gases upon combustion. This hinders firefighting efforts and approach to area of fire.

Cablemastic paint has the suitable fire retardant compounds to retard the spread of fire.

Application Method

Cobra Cablematic SFR – 999 is One Time application for the life of the cables and is very simple to apply by brush as it is available in brushable consistency
Remove dust & Grease. Apply a thin first coat of and allow it to dry for 4/6 hours.
Subsequent coats to be applied at 4-6 hours interval. Five or six coats are normally required to achieve nominal dry coating thickness of 2 mm. Allow to hard dry for 72 hours.

Gamma Radiation Tested

A stringent & reliable ageing properties test, particularly when life expectancy required is more than 40 years

Coverage	2.8 kg/sqm. For single cables and 3.5kg./ sqm for bunched cables to achieve 1.5-2mm nominal dry coating thickness
