The Flap Barrier is designed to control pedestrians entering or existing restricted areas usually under surveillance & in low security areas. Passage frquency is 40-45 persons per minute. The aisle is blocked by a retractable triangular flap made of an 20mm acrylic glass wing. After an opening pulse the flap retracts into the housing, consequently the aisle is completely clear.
