Flared Tube Fittings

Manufactured in accordance with S.A.E. A long nut is available for applications with excessive vibration. To make a connection, place nut with threaded end toward tubing end to be flared. Flare tubing to create a 45°flare. Tube flare is clamped between nut and fitting flare when screwed together. A leak proof, metal-to-metal joint is created when assembly is tightened with a wrench. Disconnecting and reconnecting do not weaken the fitting joint.

Recommended uses: copper, brass, aluminum and welded steel hydraulic tubing that can be flared

Working temperature: –65°F to 250°F

Material: 1) Bar Stock  CA360

   2) Forged CA377

Working pressure: depends on temperature and the type of tubing used

Application: fuel, air, oil, water, LP and natural gas lines
