What is class B & class N AUTOCLAVE.

The class B autoclave is defined by a pre Sterilization vacuum cycle. The class B is considered to be the highest class of autoclave and can be used to sterilize all loads including solids, type hollow instruments, type B hollow instruments, porous loads and wrapped instruments.

All B type autoclaves must pass a Helix test as per standard EN 13060 outlined by EN 867-5:2001. This can only be achieved by use of a pre Sterilization fraction vacuum.
Post Sterilization vacuum drying ensures complete drying of all loads after the Sterilization process is complete.
Class N autoclaves do not feature a vacuum cycle and are suitable for Sterilizing unwrapped solid instruments and liquids.

Safety

• A cycle will not start unless the door is properly locked.
• An double locking double locking safety device prevents the door from opening while the chamber is pressurized.
• A pressure safety valves prevent over pressurization in chamber and Steam generator.
• A safety thermostat prevents over heating in the chamber and Steam generator.
• An automatic safety shut-off prevents.
• An electricity-leaking protector will cut the power automatic if somewhere has short circuit or the power supplier is not very stable.

Documentation

• Internal printer prints detailed cycle program information in multiple languages.
• USB port & USB stick: all cycle program information in multiple languages is automatically written in the USB stick and cab be read directly in any PC.
• Internal memory: the last 20 cycle’s information can be automatically stored in the autoclave system, which can be printed out at any time.
