Flexivent DNS - Sodium Chloride (0.9%) And Dextrose (5%) Injection IP

Aculife Healthcare has developed and launched Flexivent also known as Euro Head Range of products, to meet the global pharma standards. Flexivent has many advantages in comparison to normal FFS bottles (also known as Normal Head), which are as below –

• Steriled at 117 degree Centigrade, for extra safety of patients.
• Dual Port With Closure System. One port is used for IV Set and the other for Supplemental Medication. These ports are 100% leakproof and quickly reseals. This is achieved by the material used in ports, it acts like a membrane and auto seals once needle is withdrawn from the port.
• Highly Transparent material is used, so as to aid visual inspection of IV Fluid before being used.

A combination of glucose and sodium chloride infusion is used as a source of energy and for maintenance and replacement of body fluid. It is prescribed in Treatment of sodium depletion, extracellular dehydration or hypovolaemia in cases where supply of water and carbohydrates is required due to restriction of the intake of fluids and electrolytes by normal routes.
